Family and Home Life

Lives in an apartment with their father; their mother hasn't been present in their life for about ten years.

Their father works long hours to make sure he and Yuu can live a comfortable life, which means Yuu spends more time than they'd prefer home alone.

Their grandparents on their father's side are very strict and have a very traditional mindset. They frequently criticize Yuu for not having feminine hobbies and supposedly behaving in a way that would drive off potential husbands. They approve of Yuu's cooking skills, but little else.

Their grandparents complain frequently about Yuu not accompanying their father to visit anymore. Yuu's father sighs and changes the subject as soon as possible.

They are quite fond of their aunt! She is their father's twin sister and a charming bisexual disaster who shows up about every six months with expensive gifts and wild stories. She's also responsible for Yuu's fashion sense, frankly.

Hobbies and Skills

Cooking: They frequently had to cook for themself due to their father working long hours. They're no gourmet chef, but their cooking's pretty good, all things considered. They also bake a little! The recipes they're willing to try have only increased since they got pulled into Twisted Wonderland.

Soccer: Their favorite sport! Yuu joined the soccer club in their first year of high school, but is already an advanced playmaker for the team who wears the number 10 jersey.

Ballroom dancing: Their father agreed to sign them up for a class when they were young and they absolutely fell in love. Their favorite style is the foxtrot. They want a practice partner, but they're too uncertain to ask anyone at NRC.

Likes and Dislikes

Their favorite food is kitsune udon, but really, they're just fond of udon in general.

They can't stand the smell of natto, and find its texture absolutely revolting.

They like several kinds of flowers! Moonflowers are their favorite, followed by bellflowers, cherry blossoms, wisteria, and roses. Their preferred colors for roses are white and yellow.

As far as favorite animals go, they like birds best and are particularly fond of corvids of any sort and swans. Besides birds, they also like rabbits and foxes.

They might not have the best singing voice but they will make that everyone's problem. They will sing Queen songs at ungodly hours of the morning and will not be stopped. (Okay, no, they will not actually do that. But Queen is their favorite band blame their aunt for this too and they are desperately searching for Twisted Wonderland's approximate equivalent. When it comes to specific songs, they're particularly fond of Seven Seas of Rhye and Play the Game.)

Their best subject may be magical history, but their favorite is alchemy.

Their preferred game genre is tactical RPGs, but they have a fondness for rhythm games.

Misc.

A shelf in their room back home is dedicated to the figures they've gotten out of gashapon machines.

Yuu may have concerns about not being able to go back to their world at all, but their nightmares often stem from what could happen if they do go home, most commonly things like an uneven flow of time (will they go back only to find a century's passed?) or being rejected by the people close to them (as if even just being in Twisted Wonderland has somehow changed them permanently and people can sense that).

Yuu was somewhat sickly as a child. If a bug started spreading around their school, they were almost guaranteed to come down with it.

Their earliest crush was on a Takarazuka actress.

They usually smell like rosemary and mint if they haven't been doing anything that would override the scent.
